Zvornik Home Project

Kula Grad, Zvornik, Bosnia

Razija Fejzic is an elderly woman who lives alone without anyone to care for her. She lived in a shed like house without electricity, running water, food or heat. One room space did not have a floor, kitchen or a bathroom. She uses outdoors as bathroom and showers outside even in the winter time. Her living condition was the worst case I have seen on my trip to Bosnian in December of 2016. While I was there I helped her with basics such as food and hygiene product but that was just a band aid to her suffrage. She needed more permanent solution. RukaNade decided to build her a small livable house: living room with a small kitchen attached and a bathroom. Below is a photo gallery of the project from start to finish. We are happy to know Razija has a new warm home to sleep in we thank everyone that was a part of this humanitarian project. We thank everyone who donated and shared our posts. Furthermore those who helped build exposure for this project allowing us to conclude a finished project.
